  • How Long Does it Take to Translate My Documents?

Translation time depends on a number of factors:

    • The source language
    • Number of pages (where a page is no more than 250 words)
    • The quality of the document’s scan
    • The need for clarification on spelling or missing information
  • Who Translates My Documents?
For an additional fee, we provide a notarized Certificate of Translation stating that the translation was performed by a qualified and experienced translator and that in our best judgment, the translated document is a true and accurate translation of the original documents. Please note that only the Certificate of Translation will be notarized. Notaries are required to be fluent in both languages in order to notarize the original and translated documents, and our notary is not fluent in all languages for which we provide translation services.

No, we do not provide apostille services.
  • What’s the Difference Between a Notary and an Apostille?
A notary is a person authorized to perform acts in legal affairs, in particular witnessing signatures on documents. An apostille is a certificate, different from a notary, often attached to a document by an appropriate government official after it is notarized. Notaries cannot issue apostilles themselves. Apostille certificates validate the seal and signature of a notary on a document so that it can be accepted in a foreign country. It verifies that the Notary held a notary commission at the time the document was notarized. Customers are responsible for requesting an apostille from his or her Secretary of State’s office or notary commission agency.
